Sailboat Dufour 34 charter
Designed by Patrick Roséo and Umberto Felci, the Dufour 34 is a perfectly balanced sailboat. Launched in 2003, this 10.28-meter hull length boat performs well at sea, while remaining pleasant to maneuver alone or with a small crew. Moreover, its passengers and its helmsman will appreciate its impeccable seafaring behavior in both medium and strong winds. Admittedly, the Dufour 34 does not represent any major revolution in design, but it does have the merit of combining all the characteristics that made its predecessors so popular. The genoa winches are located next to the leather-covered helm, and the mainsail is easily adjustable thanks to the sheet track located at the foot of the console at the back of the cockpit. note that the interior volume is remarkably well organized while remaining functional.
Available in 3 cabins, the Dufour 34 has excellent interior ventilation and is very light and airy thanks to the 4 deck hatches and opening portholes. This very friendly and warm interior environment is optimized by very well thought-out interior finishes. First-class joinery, a light ceiling and a marine-quality floor will make you appreciate pleasure boating in comfort.
The size of the forward cabin of the Dufour 34 is respectable and includes numerous small open lockers, two wardrobes with shelves and several storage chests located under the berth. This very spacious cabin also has a seat that doubles as a shoe locker. A porthole and a large flush deck panel provide ventilation and lighting in the cabin. The rear cabin of the Dufour 34 is embellished with a large double door wardrobe and a shelf positioned on the side of the hull.
In the living area, there are two large, soft benches, a table with two turning tops, thus facilitating movement inside, as well as a built-in bar where you can prepare delicious cocktails to impress your guests. The storage space in the Dufour 34 living area is located under the seats and above each bench. In addition to welcoming your guests in a convivial atmosphere, the living area will also be a comfortable haven of peace for the reader, who will have his or her favorite books within easy reach in the bookcase located at the top of the benches.
For gourmets, a galley awaits them on the port side of the companionway. The L-shaped galley of Dufour 34 includes a double stainless steel sink, a worktop and plenty of storage space, with sliding baskets and shelves located under each sink. the chart table is located to starboard of the companionway. It also benefits from a very practical storage system designed by Patrick Roséo. Attention should be paid to the storage area concealed under the chart table and under the seat and to the small open lockers under the electrical panel. The location of the Dufour 34's bathroom will depend on the number of cabins: at the back if there are two cabins and at the front if there are three.
With its attractive silhouette, performance under sail and comfortable fittings, the Dufour 34 has everything it takes to appeal to amateur yachtsmen who love models that are responsive and fast. This 10.60-meter-long sailboat offers excellent living conditions on the side of the boat and benefits from all the advantages of a racing sailboat. Its open deck plan facilitates maneuvering and allows it to adapt to the navigation of your choice (cruising or racing).
On the deck of the Dufour 34, it is easy to find your bearings and you quickly feel at ease in the particularly spacious open cockpit. This has been redesigned to make movement of the crew more fluid. In addition to the new helm console, the sailboat also has a discreet but very practical bathing platform. It will undoubtedly be a delight for those who love to swim.
